Who We Are

We are excited to announce that the Eating Disorders Foundation Canada has leased a suite in Western's Research Park, located just north of Western's Campus (on Windermere road). It is a private, park-like setting that is perfectly suited for program delivery.  The Harbour will include a reception area, five rooms for private therapy sessions with various expert specialists as well as rooms for group sessions.

Starting in October, the Harbour would like to ask students to give their time in 1 hour increments, on Wednesday's from the hours of 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.  The volunteer time could be to help set up for the week's events, provide a few process mapping plans, networking on behalf of students or potentially being part of helping Dr. Robbie Campbell directly.  The Harbour is a safe place for both university and college students (or young adults) that are referred to the program by family doctors.

What We Do

We provide unique therapy services for young adults.  The treatment program will not be the same for everyone but based on therapeutic needs of each individual.

Eating disorders go together with other conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), OCD (Obsessive- Compulsive Disorder), ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder), substance use, and other illnesses. You must have a team approach, or you’re not going to be able to cover all the all the other psychiatric co-morbidities that go along with it. That’s why having a multidisciplinary team with psychologists, social workers, nurses, physicians, psychiatrists, dietitians, recreational therapists, and occupational therapists is crucial.
