Who We Are
Dale Brain Injury Services (DBIS) is a non-profit, community-based rehabilitation organization supporting adults living with the effects of acquired brain injury (ABI) and stroke.
Our work is grounded in a strengths-based, person-centred approach, where individuals are partners in their own journey. Through our Rising Strong philosophy, we focus on building resilience, confidence, and growth - helping people move forward by building on what’s already strong.
Our vision is simple: we build futures.
What We Do
DBIS provides a range of community-based programs including a day program, residential services, and individualized supports.
Across all programs, the focus is on connection, engagement, and growth - through everyday interactions, social activities, and skill-building opportunities that support wellness, and meaningful lives.
For volunteers, this means being part of experiences that truly matter. Whether it’s sharing a conversation or supporting activities, volunteers help create a sense of belonging and enhance quality of life.
No two days are the same, and every interaction contributes to building connection, and a sense of belonging.
